Breast milk after 6 months has little or no value. Is that true?

This is NOT true. Breast milk at whatever age or stage is still milk. Mother's milk contains the essential protein, vitamins, calcium, fats and minerals as it did at the earlier stage. It is nature's milk intended for human's vs cow's milk which is harder to digest and absorb. Further as your baby grows older and is exposed to illnesses such as respiratory, ear and stomach infections, breast milk becomes all the more important. A child going to day- care stands to benefit when provided with the protective antibodies his Mother's milk has to offer.
