Cheesy leek, Sweet potato & Cauliflower
1tsp butter
½ small chopped onion
20g peas
1 small carrot diced, 1 small potato diced
2 medium broccoli florets cut small
Baby's usual milk (optional)
15g grated cheese
1. Fry onion in butter for 3 minutes and set aside.
In another pan simmer the carrot and potato in sufficient
water for about 15 minutes till vegetables are cooked.
(do not add too much of water when cooking or you end
up throwing the water containing the nutrients)
2. Add broccoli pieces and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Add the peas last (since peas needs least cooking) and
cook for a bit.
3. Remove from heat. Add the onion, milk and mash to
desired consistency. Stir in grated cheese, cool and
serve.
