Undecided Between Using The Potty Chair or The Toilet Itself.

There are different schools of thought on this one: some are in favor and hence come up with all the pros which of course are valid. But there are cons too to take into consideration. It is up to your toddler to choose and for you to decide which road to go on after weighing the cons and the pros.

Now a word on potty chairs:

they are portable, easy to clean and small. It can be placed in any section of your house, and you can choose to have more than one to house them in different areas of your home.

The low side is that your child will outgrow using the portable pot and you will need to retrain your kid to use the toilet. Secondly your child may grow attached to the handy pot and that means you will have to lug it around wherever you go. And of course it must stay clean, so clean it you must.

If your child can be cajoled into using the proper toilet with a ring on it that is a perfect fit for your child and a step stool to mount on the toilet himself, then nothing like it. You save yourself on time for retraining, the cleaning of an extra pot and a more confident toddler on your hands!
