Is it normal for baby's poo to be much smellier now?

Your baby's poo will be smellier, firmer and darker too. Watch out for constipation and diarrhea – it makes sense to keep track of the contents in the diaper as it can be quite revealing. Diaper contents can be quite telling on how your baby is taking to the food given. Certain foods can be constipating or your baby is not having enough fluids. Either way, increase the fluids and note that constipating foods include rice, bananas and apples. Also know that diarrhea can be caused by food that is not agreeable to your baby. Consult your doctor when you feel the need.
