Is there such thing as drinking too much milk now that my baby is on solid food?

Milk is a healthy choice for babies but it becomes less perfect for growing bodies. That is why you will need to balance your baby's diet with milk and solids from 6 months old. Excessive milk in fact can interfere with baby's ability to eating food. If your baby fills up on milk during and between meals, he will lose appetite for fortified cereals, meat, vegetables and whatever else you have on the menu. At this age i.e. 6-9 months old, your baby should progress to having four milk feeds and 3 solid meals (two savories, and one sweet). From 10 months old milk feed can be reduced to three feeds and from a year old to two feeds.
