My baby makes strange faces while eating; does it mean she doesn't like it?

Babies spit out food, make strange expressions when trying a new food. You can expect this since she has never tried the food or is not used to the taste yet (if you have tried before) and that's why the funny faces. It does not necessarily mean she dislikes it. In the beginning keep foods simple and predictable. Stick with simple recipes. Once she has adjusted to eating, then start to vary her menu. But yes, if she is adamant and clams her mouth shut, gags or physically reacts to the food then you should give in and stop. Try another day.
