What are growth spurts and when do they typically occur?


Growth spurts affect your little one's appetite, that is to say babies tend to have insatiable appetite during these periods as their growth is rapid.

Typically these rapid growth periods (not counting the newborn phase) are:

Between 4 and 5 months when baby's weight doubles Between 8 and 10 months when baby is active and already on solid food When baby has turned a year old and her weight has tripled
