'post-workout fatigue' which is common during pregnancy but I am not sure what it means.

As the term implies, post workout fatigue is to do with the level of tiredness you feel after working out. Though feeling fatigued is common during pregnancy, feeling terribly tired the day after you have exercised to even go about your normal activities is indicative that you have probably worked out in excess. Perhaps it is to do with the particular exercise not suiting the stage of your pregnancy or that you are new to exercise or you are simply doing more than your body can cope. Whatever the reason may be you will need to reevaluate the level or the type of activity to prevent the overwhelming exhaustion. For example go easy on yourself with a 15-20 minutes walk on tired days. Some form of light exercise is better than none to enjoy the feel-good hormones i.e. serotonin your body will benefit from.
