I feel nauseas every other day. What will work besides medication?

To reduce the effects of nausea you can perhaps make some changes to your daily routine which will hopefully work for you. Begin with eating smaller meals and avoid bigger ones since you do not have the stomach for it right now. You don't have to eat three square meals as crisps and crackers will do if that is all you can handle. Eat more vegetables and fruits and avoid fatty fried foods. Still on meals, eat regular and small to avoid an empty stomach and consequently a wave of nausea. Keep some crackers by the bed and have it with some tea before starting your day; avoid rising on an empty stomach. Steer clear of unpleasant smells if you find that nauseating - in fact consider giving up shopping and cooking for the time being as many aromatic smells can work oppositely for you. Vitamins that are too strong can also provoke this reaction so perhaps a switch to something milder on your doctor's guidance will help. Finally rest whenever you can and try not to rush about in the mornings as this only aggravates the feeling.
